Certified Medical Assistant for pediatric physician practice.
To assist physician with the daily operations of the physician's office.
Maintains efficient patient flow and assists with patient care, i.
e.
exams, procedures and patient education under the direction and supervision of a physician.
Performs triage, monitors and records vitals of all visiting patients.
Perform EKG and Phlebotomy.
Ensures medical documentation of office visits.
Assists in scheduling procedures.
Acts as Office Coordinator in the absence of the Coordinator.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
May be require to travel other physician offices in tri-county.
Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants, or Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologist or Licensed Practical Nurse REQUIRED (If part of an acquisition, required within one year of employment) Current BLS/CPR Certification REQUIRED Two years experience in physicians practice or other clinical setting preferred.
Computer Literate and Strong Interpersonal skills required.
Must have the ability to concentrate in an environment that may have numerous activities and interruption.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and employees.
EMR - NextGen experience preferred Bilingual - Spanish a plus Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
